Pinellas County East Lake Community Library Expansion

To meet the needs of the ever-growing East Lake community, WDA developed the design for a 3,500 s.f. expansion to the East Lake Community Library. This is the first phase of a future 15,000 s.f., two-story addition to the existing 6,400 s.f. facility. The expansion consists of a 69-seat community meeting room that is dividable into two separate spaces, as well as staff support spaces. This addition provides space in the existing library to relocate the Children’s Services into the community room and allow for the previous Children’s area to be converted into the Young Adult area.
