This is an opportunity for an experienced contract manager to work alongside our management team and oversee all aspects of WDA’s client and subconsultant contracts. We are seeking a full-time teammate that likes to interact with co-workers and clients, to be headquartered in our Clearwater office. The successful candidate will act as our team’s point person providing contract preparation, reporting, documentation management, and oversight of account payables and receivables, as it pertains to project contracts.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Establish and maintain relationships with new, existing clients and vendor representatives.
- Manage all customer and vendor accounts utilizing Deltek Ajera accounting software.
- Ensure contracts comply with client requirements and firm policies.
- Review contract pricing, terms of payment, and other charges and transactions, as necessary.
- Prepare and issue billing based on project deliverables.
- Track AR transactions and manage delinquent client accounts in a timely manner.
- Monitor insurance coverage for WDA and our subconsultants.
- Ensure contractual reporting is completed in a timely manner for existing clients.
- Assist as necessary with processing transactions, and accounting duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned, to ensure the overall team’s success.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in accounting and or AIA contract and subcontract management.
- Ability to review and understand general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable data.
- Knowledge of AEC industry best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and Deltek Ajera accounting software.
- Detail oriented individual focused on accuracy, with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with a high level of integrity.
